Job Description

Step into a key leadership role as an Operations Supervisor with our client in Stevenson, North Ayrshire.

We’re looking for an organised, people-focused supervisor to lead our frontline teams and keep our operations running smoothly and safely.

* £21.75 PAYE + Rolled up holidays + pensions *
* Immediate Start Available *

What you’ll be doing:

– Leading and managing operatives, vehicles, plant and materials to deliver works on time and to a high standard

– Planning and scheduling workloads and appointments, making sure the right people and resources are in the right place at the right time

– Monitoring progress, productivity and quality, and making adjustments where needed

Managing subcontractors, from identifying when they’re needed, to monitoring their performance

– Responding professionally to customer enquiries and complaints

Keeping accurate records, documentation and reports using both manual and computerised systems

-Ensuring all Health & Safety and Asbestos procedures are followed, including on-site checks and inspections

Verifying timesheets, overtime, vehicle tracker information and other documentation
– Supporting out-of-hours services and contributing to emergency planning activities

What you’ll have:
– A background/ knowledge of dampness treatment works [Desirable]
– CSCS Card [Essential]
– CMI – HNC in Construction or Management or equivalent
– Building Trade qualification (SVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
– Full UK Drivers License [Essential]

Who we’re looking for:

– Experience in an operational, repairs, maintenance or field-based service environment

Strong people management skills
– Able to lead, motivate and organise teams

Confident in planning, scheduling and using resources efficiently

Comfortable using IT systems and producing clear, accurate records and reports

A strong focus on safety, quality and customer service
