On behalf of or client, in Edinburgh, Blueprint Recruitment are seeking a Wood Machinist, on a full time, permanent basis.

Competitive Salary – Negotiable Depending on Experience

This would suit an individual who has either a recognised qualification in this area, or someone who can demonstrate a proven track record of this type of work.

Having recently undergone significant expansion, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a timber machining background who wishes to join a growing organisation.

This is a permanent position and presents the successful Wood Machinist the opportunity to work with a well known established and growing local company.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Wood Machinist:
– Experience using Weinig and Hydromat machinery
– Cross cut and saw experience
– Ability to set machine cutting tools to customer profiles
– Select aand run computer controlled process (CNC)
– Using hand and auto fed machinery
– Producing mouldings to detailed customer specifications
– Good house-keeping.
– Excellent Health & Safety.
– Continual delivery of total customer satisfaction
– Previous experience in a similar role.

Hours of work:
– 38.5 hours p/w on either a day or a back shift
– Backshift has an additional shift allowance
– Overtime available and paid at a premium rate.
